ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 1
Sanremo
Welcome to the Riviera! After meeting your driver at the Nice International Airport, you will start your journey to Sanremo, the first destination on your itinerary. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure or take a relaxing stroll along the seaside and taste some of the famous local products.
DAY 2
Walking Tour of Sanremo and Ariston Theater
Meet your guide and start an engaging private tour of Sanremo, a city known for its beautiful coastline, and wonderful shopping malls but especially for the Sanremo Festival, the most important Italian annual music event. Our guide will share the story of this festival and the great impact it always had on this city. At the end of the tour, enjoy a private experience at the Ariston Theater, the wonderful venue where the glamorous Sanremo Festival has been held since 1951.
DAY 3
Genoa
After breakfast, you will join your private driver for a picturesque journey to your selected hotel in Genoa. Spend the afternoon at leisure or explore the city center, visit the world-famous aquarium, and have some focaccia and pasta al pesto, delicacies that originate from this city.
DAY 4
Exploration of Genoa and its Famous Composers
Meet your guide and embark on a journey through the traditional and colorful streets of Genoa. Explore the main historical landmarks, but most importantly, learn more about the significance of the city in the history of classical music as the birthplace of such master composers and musicians as Paganini and Fabrizio de Andre.
DAY 5
Milan
Your next destination will be Milan and you will reach the city by private transfer from Genoa. After you check in to the hotel of your choice, spend the day relaxing over an aperitivo or ask your Travelive specialist for recommendations.
DAY 6
The City of Fashion and Music - Milan
Discover the artistic side of this vibrant city, while your driver and guide introduce you to the most important sites in the city. Pass through the bustling streets and see the Duomo, the Sforza Castle, the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, and the Brera neighborhood. And, of course, it would not be a music tour without a private guided visit to La Scala Theater, one of the most important venues in the world for classical music and performance arts.
DAY 7
A Day at Leisure and a Night at the Opera (Optional)
Use this day to self-explore Milan and let us make dinner reservations in a venue with live music, to connect with this city even more. Optionally, meet your private driver at the hotel for a glamorous night at the Opera (based on the availability of tickets and events).
DAY 8
Venice
After check-out, our driver will be waiting for your private transfer to your selected hotel in Venice (water taxi included). Alternatively, hop on a high-speed train connecting Milan and Venice and a water taxi will be waiting to take you to the hotel. Use this first day to discover the calles around your hotel and have a fabulous dinner overlooking the Canal Grande.
DAY 9
Walking Tour of Venice
After meeting your guide at the hotel, start your walking tour of this romantic Italian city. Take a glimpse of St. Mark’s Basilica (entrance fees on request) and the Doge’s Palace, walk along Ponte di Rialto, and enjoy a guided visit to La Fenice Theater, one of the most renowned landmarks in the history of Italian culture.
DAY 10
Verona Arena Experience
After a day at leisure, get ready for an exciting night as you meet our representative at the hotel and head for Piazzale Roma in the water taxi. Your driver will be waiting to take you through the Veneto region to reach Verona, where you will have the opportunity to experience an authentic opera performance at the world-famous Arena. Enjoy the music and the astonishing voices of the singers, and at the end meet your driver at the entrance to bring you back to your hotel.
DAY 11
Departure day
Your driver will meet you at the hotel and take you to Venice Marco Polo airport for your departure flight.
