At its core, Travelive exists to preserve the human connection in travel. We believe every journey should be shaped around the traveler, with each hotel, route, guide, and experience chosen for a reason and connected to the next.
Our founders created Travelive in 2001, just as large online booking platforms were making information easier to find while much of the conversation and judgment behind travel planning began to fade. They understood what travel advisors and their clients still needed: local experts who could look beyond what appeared online, inspect hotels, test services firsthand, connect the right pieces, and translate each traveler's passions, interests, pace, and priorities into a complete custom journey.
Since then, Travelive has grown from a small operation into the preferred collection of DMCs. Today, more than 120 team members work from our local offices in Greece, Italy, Croatia, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Turkey and Egypt.
A destination management company, or DMC, is the local company that designs and runs a journey within its destination. Travelive owns and operates 11 DMCs, each with its own local team. Working in partnership with travel advisors, our teams create every itinerary from the ground up, coordinate the hotels, guides, drivers, and experiences, and make sure the journey works in real life, not only on paper. Travelers can reach our in-destination support team 24/7 throughout their trip.
Because every DMC belongs to the same Travelive network, our teams coordinate directly across borders. Advisors can rely on one connected partner for multi-country travel, while each destination retains the knowledge, relationships and accountability of a local company.
