ITINERARY DETAILS
DAY 1
Welcome to Sicily! Our driver will meet you at the arrival gate of Catania Fontarossa Airport or Palermo Punta Raisi Airport and transfer you to Taormina, the gem of eastern Sicily. After check-in, relax and discover the charms of this ancient town. Ask your Travelive specialist for their favorite restaurants and local spots.
DAY 2
Embark on a walking tour of Taormina and learn more about the town’s fascinating history and traditions. Enjoy the sights of the Ancient Greek Theater (that you can optionally visit), the Municipal Park, and the dozens of noblemen’s villas scattered around this incredible destination. Once you complete the exploration of the center, meet your driver for a transfer to the pier, where you will board a fun boat excursion to Isola Bella (Beautiful Island in Italian). During the boat ride, take the opportunity to capture perfect photos for your social media pictures of the crystal-clear water and the rocky and green island.
DAY 3
Today’s full-day experience is reserved for the majestic Mt. Etna, one of the largest volcanos in Europe. Bask in the views as you ride through the Sicilian countryside and once you reach the area of Mt. Etna, follow the lead of your expert guide to discover the secrets of this giant, and optionally take the cable car to reach the top of the volcano. After the guided tour, visit a winery built on the slopes of the mountain for a traditional Sicilian lunch accompanied by wine.
DAY 4
Spend a day at leisure or opt for a day trip to the charming towns of Modica, Scicli, and Noto. In Modica, savor the tastes of unique chocolate varieties produced only in this area. In Scicli, learn the history of this ancient settlement that is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Noto, enjoy taking pictures of the majestic cathedral and the baroque buildings that are scattered around town.
DAY 5
Your driver will take you to Catania Airport for your flight to Sardinia. Based on your hotel of choice, you will either land at Cagliari Elmas Airport or Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport. Once on the island, spend an afternoon at leisure basking in the wild beauty of this destination.
DAY 6
Based on the location of your hotel, you will have a driver at your disposal today to explore the best beaches in either Northern or Southern Sardinia. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters, the cliffs, and the sandy beaches. Reach panoramic points to take wonderful pictures of the coast and learn why Sardinia is one of the best destinations for those who love the beach and the sea.
DAY 7
Experience the luxury and allure of Porto Cervo, one of the most coveted retreats in Italy. This village was first built by Prince Karim Aga Khan and other investors as their private haven on this beautiful island. Enjoy the sights of private yachts, ateliers, and shops by the world’s most famous brands, together with the lush vegetation of the area.
DAY 8
Spend your last day in Sardinia relaxing at the hotel, self-exploring your surrounding area, or opt for a tour of ancient artisan shops of Cagliari and the surrounding villages to discover old traditions and hear the myths and legends that have been passed down for generations. This tour will also include a cheese farm visit and a traditional Sardinian lunch. If your hotel of choice is in Northern Sardinia, opt for a boat excursion to either La Maddalena Island or the Tavolara National Park.
DAY 9
After your transfer to the airport and arrival in Naples, a driver will meet you to take you to your hotel of choice on the Amalfi Coast.
DAY 10
It is time to explore Capri and all its riches. After meeting your driver and a transfer to the pier, you will board a short public ferry to Capri Island (optionally, we can arrange a private boat transfer). Once on Capri Island, you will meet your expert local guide who will tell you the story of this beautiful island that once was a private retreat of emperors and nobles. Take a pleasant stroll through the shops and the restaurants in La Piazzetta, jump on the cable car up to Mt. Solaro to take the most beautiful pictures of the Mediterranean Sea, and enjoy the sights of the world-famous Faraglioni. After your guided visit, you will be transferred to the boarding point for the Blue Grotto, so you can hop into a wooden boat and row through this stunning cave.
DAY 11
Explore the best sights of the Amalfi Coast during this full-day experience as your private driver takes you through narrow streets connecting the towns of Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano. In Ravello, admire the colors of the world-famous garden and the elegance of ancient villas. In Amalfi, stroll through centuries-old buildings and bask in the best sights of the Coast from several panoramic points. In Positano, pamper yourself with a wonderful traditional lunch, and some high-quality shopping.
DAY 12
You can either decide to spend this day relaxing in your hotel, or you can opt for a day trip to Sorento. This enchanting little town in the Gulf of Naples has been the inspiration of many painters, singers, and writers. While there, an expert local guide will lead you to the best food and craft shops, where you can buy local products and taste mouthwatering traditional food.
DAY 13
A driver will be waiting at the hotel to take you to Naples Capodichino Airport, where you will board you flight back home.
