DAY 1
Sorrento
Welcome to Italy! After landing at Naples Capodichino Airport, your private driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel of choice in Sorrento. Afternoon at leisure, perfect for a stroll through the traditional food and artisan shops of Sorrento before you relax with an amazing meal in one of the restaurants suggested by your Travelive specialist.
DAY 2
Boat tour
After meeting your captain at the pier in Sorento, embark on a private boat adventure to discover the most awe-inspiring sites of the region such as Capri, the Faraglioni rocks, and the Blue Cave. Pamper yourself with the snacks and the drinks you will have on board, swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and discuss with the captain where you would like to have lunch and some time at leisure before returning to the pier in Sorento.
DAY 3
Day trip to the Amalfi Coast
Explore the best sights of the Amalfi Coast during this full-day experience as your private driver takes you through narrow streets connecting the towns of Ravello, Amalfi, and Positano. In Ravello, admire the colors of the world-famous garden and the elegance of ancient villas. In Amalfi, stroll through centuries-old buildings and bask in the best sights of the Coast from several panoramic points. In Positano, pamper yourself with a wonderful traditional lunch, and some high-quality shopping before it’s time to head back to your hotel.
DAY 4
Day at leisure or trip to Pompeii
Choose between a relaxing day on a beach in Sorrento or ask your Travelive specialist to add a visit to the archaeological site of Pompeii to the itinerary. As you explore this archaeological site you will gain a unique glimpse of the past of this once vibrant city where life abruptly stopped in 79 BC after the eruption of the Vesuvius volcano. Soak up the mystery of one of Europe’s most compelling sites that serves as a constant reminder of the power of nature.
DAY 5
Tuscany Coast
After the Amalfi coast, it is time to head to the Tuscan seaside via high-speed train from Naples to Florence. Once on the coast, check into your hotel of choice in Forte dei Marmi or Viareggio and enjoy your afternoon at leisure by exploring the area.
DAY 6
Relax at the beach on the Tuscan Coast
Let our concierge team take care of the beach club reservations so you can relax and enjoy a day at the beach sipping on your favorite cocktail. Replenish your energy with a light lunch and wait for sunset, so to enjoy a lovely aperitivo on your sunbed while admiring the spectacular views as the sun descends into the sea.
DAY 7
Day trip to Pisa and Lucca
After meeting your driver at the hotel, you will start your journey to Pisa and Lucca. In Pisa, your English-speaking guide will give you all the details and insights into the fascinating Campo dei Miracoli that houses the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Pisa Cathedral. You will then continue to Lucca with an optional stop in the Tuscan countryside for a traditional lunch. Lucca is another picturesque city filled with historical and cultural riches. Revel in the views of the walls surrounding the city, its cobbled piazzas, and opulent villas, and relax in one of many aperitivo-friendly squares before your return to the hotel.
DAY 8
Italian Riviera
Today our driver will transfer you to the Italian Riviera, where you will check in to your hotel of choice on the Italian Riviera. After check-in, enjoy this first day in the area by taking a stroll at the seaside, and be sure to ask your Travelive specialist for their recommendations and favorite places in the area.
DAY 9
Tour of the Cinque Terre
After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel and start your drive towards Riomaggiore, the best location to start your exploration of the picturesque UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cinque Terre filled with pastel-colored houses and dramatic landscapes. Following the expert lead of your English-speaking guide, discover one of the most beautiful parks in Italy, where the crystal-clear waters of the Ligurian Sea meet the lush vegetation surrounding the five villages of Manarola, Riomaggiore, Monterosso, Corniglia and Vernazza.
DAY 10
Boating experience in the Italian Riviera
After breakfast, meet your captain at the designated pier and start an exciting nautical adventure exploring the Italian Riviera. Admire the pristine waters of the Ligurian Sea and the sights of the surrounding towns of San Fruttuoso, Portofino, Santa Margherita Rapallo, and many more. Stop for some time at leisure in any of these locations and let your captain give you the best lunch spot recommendations.
DAY 11
Day at leisure or traditional cooking class
Today, relax and pamper yourself at a beach club, or ask your Travelive specialist to add a traditional culinary experience in Portofino to your itinerary. Following the lead of your true Ligurian chef, learn how to prepare mouthwatering dishes of the Ligurian region such as pesto and focaccia, both of which would make a great addition to your next hosted party back home. After the class, enjoy the fruits of your labor during a lovely lunch with a view over the Riviera coastline.
DAY 12
Departure Day
After check out, your Travelive representative will be waiting to take you for a private transfer to Genoa International or Milan Malpensa Airport for your departure flight.
