DAY 1
Madrid
Welcome to Spain, a country filled with Moorish palaces, Gothic cathedrals, Roman Aqueducts, modern artwork, delicious food and wine, fertile planes, crystal clear seas, and soaring mountains. Upon arrival at the Madrid airport, a representative will be waiting to transfer you to your luxury hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure, exploring the beauty of this monumental city. Ask your travel consultant for recommendations of their favorite restaurants, cafes, and bars.
DAY 2
Madrid – Madrid Old Quarter and Royal Palace Walking Tour
Marvel through the rich history of Madrid during your private walking tour of the city's historic center and the Royal Palace. Your licensed English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel, before setting off through the historic streets, discovering the old quarter, the Barrio de la Moreria, and learning about the city's Moorish roots. Continue to the Renaissance and Baroque buildings of the Habsburg era, in Calle Mayor, the Plaza Mayor, and the Plaza de la Villa. At the end of your walking tour through the old quarter make sure to visit the impressive Royal Palace, the former residence of the Spanish Kings. The palace is adorned with the royal family's exquisite collection of tapestries, porcelain, antique clocks, armor, and artworks. Admire priceless paintings by Goya and Velazquez, as well as the official Reception Hall, the Royal Chapel, the Hall of the Throne, and the private room of King Carlos III and Queen Isabel II.
DAY 3
Madrid - Tenerife - Puerto de la Cruz
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Tenerife. There you will meet your private driver and be transferred to your hotel in Puerto de la Cruz.
DAY 4
Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife
You will have today to relax and enjoy the sun and sea at your lovely hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. You can also explore at your leisure and maybe try the local cuisine.
DAY 5
Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife – Mt. Teide and Masca Valley Tour
Today’s tour will take you to discover the magnificent landscapes that surround Tenerife’s Mt Teide and the Masca Valley. Accompanied by your professional guide you will travel through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Teide National Park.
DAY 6
Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife – Garachico & Icod de los vinos
Garachico, the former capital of the island, has suffered a very strong volcanic eruption that gave rise to one of the most beautiful landscapes in the north. Accompanied by your guide you will admire the beautiful landscape before continuing to Icod de los Vinos. There you will find the oldest and largest tree on the island: The Millenary Drago.
DAY 7
Tenerife to La Palma
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to La Palma.
DAY 8
La Palma Full Island Tour
Welcome to La Palma! Accompanied by your expert guide you will explore the beautiful island, admire the amazing landscape, and stroll around the town. The island is known to be the greenest of the Canary Islands and visitors can observe dramatic landscapes from cliffs to hidden beaches and lush forests! The island houses endless ecological treasures.
DAY 9
La Palma
You will have today to relax and enjoy the sun and sea at your lovely hotel. You can also explore at your leisure!
DAY 10
La Palma - Maspalomas desert & dunes & camel ride
One of the most striking landscapes on the island is the Maspalomas desert. It is an absolute must to visit La Palma and an unforgettable experience. You will walk through the dunes and admire the panoramic views. The tour would not be completed without a swim in the blue waters of the Atlantic!
DAY 11
La Palma - La Gomera
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to La Gomera.
DAY 12
La Gomera – Tour Garajonay National Park
Garajonay National Park features some of the island’s most unspoiled subtropical landscapes. Accompanied by your experienced guide you embark on an exploration off the beaten path and delve into the lush nature of this nature’s gem.
DAY 13
La Gomera – Whale Watching Tour
Today’s tour will take you off the coast of La Gomera, where you will have great opportunities and a very high chance of spectacular sightings of marine animals. In these waters, it is very frequent to encounter cetaceans such as spotted dolphins, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, rough-toothed dolphins, and pilot whales. In some cases, you can even see sperm whales, Bryde’s whales, Blainville’s whales, and sea turtles. It is a true paradise for marine animals and a great opportunity to admire them in their natural habitat.
DAY 14
La Gomera - Gomera Island Tour
Today you will explore the idyllic island of La Gomera. This place offers unforgettable experiences to its visitors, with spectacular sights and authentic culture. Accompanied by your expert guide you will discover the highlights of the island, explore the capital of San Sebastian and visit famous sites such as the Church of the Assumption and the Columbus House.
DAY 15
La Gomera to Tenerife
Return to Tenerife and have the rest of the day to relax and unwind before your departure.
DAY 16
Departure
After meeting your driver, you will be transferred to the Airport for your departure flight.
