Nico,

I am a skeptical New Yorker but I was overwhelmed at the quality of the trip that you planned for us. After a disappointing experience with another travel “specialist” I feel very lucky to have found you and Travelive. Because I was planning a trip for a big anniversary I really wanted to explore various possibilities before making a final choice. I had a good idea what I wanted but I also wanted the input of an expert. You went above and beyond what I expected from a travel agent, patiently guiding me through the entire process and never rushing me or pushing me toward things I didn’t want. You never hesitated to answer my MANY questions and your expertise was welcome. You listened to what I described as my ideal trip and planned several different itineraries to provide me with outlines in the various price ranges that I requested. The “proof is in the pudding” as they say and now that I’ve returned I can tell you that Travelive offers a QUALITY experience. I’m fussy at this point in my life and I can now vouch for the fact that if anyone wants a luxurious no-hassle experience this is where they're going to get it.

Anyone who has traveled knows that sometimes things happen when traveling and one has to be a bit adaptable but there is no doubt that this makes traveling stressful sometimes. But the fact that Travelive gave us a number to call in the rare event that something did go wrong goes a long way to insuring a stress-free trip. We had one minor glitch which was immediately taken care of when I called Isadora from the airport. To be able to call someone else to handle problems allowed us to just relax and enjoy our well earned trip and that's a feature you don't get from every travel agency where often you're forgotten by the time you’re actually on your trip. The quality didn't stop there however. We loved the choices of 5 star hotels and all three offered us not only upgrades but all sorts of little amenities to help celebrate our 25th anniversary. People could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The private transports arranged made traveling in and between cities exceptionally comfortable and convenient and they were even able to accommodate special requests and time changes. We rode in comfort, we rode in style. My husband loved not having to drive or haul luggage on trains. The guides chosen for us were amazing in their depth of knowledge and their lively personalities and we loved all the tours. (especially since our guides enabled us to skip the long lines and just walk right in to most places!)

From start to finish I felt we were getting the best and I will not hesitate to use Travelive again and to recommend you to others.

Thank you for a memorable anniversary trip!

Molte Grazie!

Tina

Hello Nico,

The trip was outstanding! A dream!

From start to finish it was smooth sailing and we loved every experience you planned for us.

The tour guides in each city were so personable and professional while at the same time so full of knowledge and love for their city. I learned so much and so enjoyed each of them.

The cooking tour was a definite highlight, and we all fell in love with Chef Fabio for his generosity.

Thank you for making my dream trip a reality.

Dear Mina,

Just wanted to let you know that we have arrived back home from what was perhaps the best adventure of our lives so far! We had an outstanding visit to Italy, Rome, Florence and Venice. ! I am speaking on behalf of Steve and Sandra Norton as well. The four of us were most impressed with your services and felt very fortunate indeed to have such wonderful guides, a very special shout out to Fredericka. Fredericka was our guide to the Vatican and she was absolutely delightful and well informed. All the guides were superb and each had a special slant to the subject matter that they presented.

Our drivers to and from were of utmost professionalism, always on time, if not early! Our Discover Tuscany tour was perhaps our favorite as we ended up at the Casanova farm for a most delightful lunch and education on balsamic Vinegar.

Without hesitation I would recommend your services for anyone traveling to Italy or anywhere you go for that matter. We enjoyed every minute of our tour and will remember it always!

Attached are a few photos of our time Italy. The last photo of the bunch is in Venice where we had front row seats to the George Clooney wedding watch! We did indeed see George Clooney twice in his boat parade which made our Venice visit even more special.

Thank you again,

Lisa

Dear Faye,

Where do we begin? There is so much to tell you. First off we must thank you and your group for a flawless and amazing trip. Everything that you arranged went off without a hitch, from the time we arrived at the airport in Rome to saying our goodbyes at the Venice airport.

Let’s begin with our hotel rooms in Rome, Florence and Venice…loved all the choices of hotels… they were top notch, in the middle of the action…or not too far from it, the staff was pleasant and most accommodating, rooms were beautifully decorated and of course very comfortable.

Our limo drivers/guides Giovanni and Francesco were fabulous. Giovanni had a great rapport, especially with my husband, as they were both retired police officers. Both drivers made us feel so comfortable, and even stopping and pointing out many historical and interesting sites along our drive. They were patient and never rushed us. Loved them!

Next would like to talk about our guides in Rome, Florence and Venice in that order.

In Rome, we had a beautiful young woman named Federica; she was very knowledgeable in Roman history. Our tour through The Coliseum, Vatican City, and the Sistine Chapel were filled with interesting facts and even great little tid-bits of trivia that we will always remember.

In the beautiful city of Florence we met our guide Elvio… I want to say that if all my teachers were as passionate and interesting as Elvio I would still be attending school (and I am in my 60′s). The excitement in his voice, especially while explaining the story of ‘The David’, it drew us in totally. He is a ‘Master’ at his craft’. Just can’t say enough about him.

Our last guide Ivan, whom we met in Venice, asked us if we would rather go off the beaten path and actually see where the locals go (ergo the photo of the fish market), we jumped at the chance and said yes. He took us through side allies, across bridges and found ourselves in the midst of the local markets. He stopped to discuss the history of the wells in the center of the little squares (quite interesting). Also, slipped into a few churches and he described the amazing frescoes, and mosaics inside and outside the churches.

We even went through a children’s book museum (I think that’s what it was as its hard to remember it all…even though I took notes.) Ivan pointed out a little restaurant that he said we should go to after our tour of Doges Palace.

He had purchased tickets for us so we didn’t have to wait on line. Of course we took him up on that. So after the Palace tour we sat with a glass of ‘Vino’ overlooking the Grand Canal… what can I say, it was breathtaking! But my favorite story of Venice was ‘The Bridge of Sighs’. Every site was more interesting than the last.

Venice is an amazing ancient city. Every corner is filled with exciting history. We loved it all. Faye thanks for also arranging the perfect weather we had, sun every day.

This was a trip we will be talking about for a long time. Thanks again Faye for all you did. We will be looking forward to our next trip with you. See photos below.

Warm regards,

Nancy & Charlie

Hi Marina,

Yes, we’re settled back into daily life…we had a blast! Really appreciate all of the organization and recommendations in each of the cities. In terms of the hotels we would rank Rose Garden #1 of the 3…the other rooms were much smaller and not as comfortable. All of the arranged transports/shuttles were awesome! Everyone was friendly, punctual, and easy to find. That took so much unnecessary stress out of the trip.

There is one local sandwich place you need to add to your recommended list in Florence and was right around the corner from Bernini Palace..I’ll get the name for you, it was amazing!

Here are a few pics for you, will definitely recommend you to other friends, and Greece looks like it would be a great trip as well!

Regards,

Dave
