DAY 1
Seville
Welcome to Andalucia! Spain's exotic southern region, famous for its Moorish architecture and the sounds of Flamenco echoing through the narrow streets. Upon arrival, your private driver will be waiting to transfer you and your spouse to your luxury romantic hotel. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure. Ask your travel consultant for recommendations of their favorite restaurants, cafes and bars.
DAY 2
Seville - Seville Walking Tour
Today's tour will take you through the beautiful streets of Seville's unique city center. Together with your partner and your English-Speaking guide, discover the Barrio Santa Cruz, the Cathedral of Seville and La Giralda, a symbol of the city that unites the Islamic past to the Christian cathedral.
DAY 3
Seville
Spend a day with your loved one indulging in the rich culture and delicious food of Seville. In the evening you may want to see a traditional Flamenco show. Ask your leisure travel consultant about their favorite entertainment and nightlife spots in Seville.
DAY 4
Seville, Cordoba
After breakfast meet your private driver at the hotel and set off for Cordoba. After checking into your hotel, spend the afternoon getting to know the city with your partner in crime.
DAY 5
Cordoba – Cordoba Walking Tour
You and your spouse can learn about the history and traditions of this intriguing city, with its fascinating mix of Roman, Arabic and Spanish history, during your private guided walking tour. Visit the magnificent Mezquita, a cathedral converted from an original mosque when the Christians conquered Cordoba in the 13th century, and the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, built in the 14th century by Alfonso XI and home to remarkable Arabian baths, Roman mosaics and a sarcophagus of marble from the 3rd century. Wander through the Jewish Quarter, admire monuments dedicated to the most important sons of Cordoba, Roman philosopher Seneca, Arabian philosopher Averroes, and Jewish philosopher Maimonides. Continue to Cordoba's Bullfighting Museum, the Cordoba Synagogue, one of the few synagogues left today, and the El Zoco market, where traditional artisans paint and flamenco dancers practice.
DAY 6
Cordoba
Spend the day relaxing with your husband or wife as you choose to explore more of Cordoba's rich history or relax with the laid-back lifestyle of the locals. Ask your travel consultant for recommendations of their favorite sites, activities, bars and restaurants.
DAY 7
Cordoba, Granada
After breakfast, your private driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Granada. Upon arrival, check into your luxury hotel, and enjoy an afternoon exploring the city as newlyweds.
DAY 8
Granada – Granada and Albaicin Walking Tour
Enjoy a guided walking tour of Granada's most historic neighborhoods. Discover the city's rich history and its reputation as a melting pot of cultural influences, as you stroll through the charming streets with your spouse. See Granada Cathedral, a masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance and visit Alcaicería, the city's Moorish silk market that was restored after a 19th-century fire, before heading up to the neighborhood of Albaicin, a UNESCO World Heritage site. High up on a hill, adjacent to the Alhambra palace complex, is the Albaicin, famous for its incredible views over the Darro Valley and maze of narrow cobblestone streets.
DAY 9
Granada
Discover the city, on your free time, through the labyrinth streets and vibrant local culture of Granada, or take a guided tour of the Alhambra and Generalife, Granada's most famous monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace complex is thought to have originated as a fortress in the 9th century, and later expanded over the following centuries with opulent palaces, vast courtyards and lavish gardens. Your private guide will introduce you to the Alhambra's intriguing history, as well as tales and trivia about the Moorish Kings and sultans, who once considered it their home. Visit the complex's oldest part, the Alcazaba Fortress, see Torre de la Vela, and walk through Nasrid Palaces, Myrtle Courtyard, also known as Patio de los Arrayanes, and the Ambassador's Hall, known as Salon de Embajadores. Admire the contrasting Renaissance architecture from the Palace of Charles V, with the rest of Alhambra's rich Moorish architecture and décor, and peek at the Royal Baths. End your tour with a stroll through the breathtaking Generalife Gardens, where the Spanish rulers of bygone days went to relax, as you fall in love all over again on the last day of your honeymoon.
DAY 10
Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Seville Airport, to catch your departure flight.
