DAY 1
Zagreb to Ljubljana Transfer
A meeting your driver at the arrival hall, you will head to your selected hotel in Ljubljana. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring the capital of Slovenia city and be sure to ask your Travelive specialist for the best dining experiences.
DAY 2
Ljubljana and Bled Lake Tour
Start your day with a private tour of the city. Explore all the most renowned sites in Ljubljana before continuing to the fairytale-like Bled Lake. Nestled between the Julian Alps and lush forests, the lake surrounds Bled Island, and a boat will be waiting to take you across. The island has several prominent buildings, and your boat will dock near the pilgrimage church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. Built near the end of the 17th century, decorated with remains of Gothic frescos from 1470 in the presbyterium and rich Baroque equipment. The church has a 52 m tower and there is a Baroque stairway from 1655 with 99 stone steps leading up to the top of the island, presenting you with stunning panoramic views. The legend says whoever rings the bell in the tower will have their wish come true, so make sure you include some bell ringing on your to-do list.
DAY 3
Rovinj
After breakfast, you will meet your private driver and start your journey toward your hotel in Rovinj, Croatia. Afternoon at leisure, explore the old town or ask your Travelive specialist for dining recommendations.
DAY 4
Tour of Opatija, Rijeka and Krk Island
Experience the perfect combination of sea-and-island panoramas and mountainous landscapes as you explore the region of Kvarner. Discover the sites, culture, and historical heritage of Opatija, Rijeka, and Island Krk. You will start with the scenic town of Opatija or Monte Carlo of the Adriatic. This city was the first organized seaside resort on the Adriatic Sea, and it was frequently visited by crowned heads and celebrities. It will captivate you with its carefully designed parks, vibrant promenade, beautiful villas, and fountains. You will then continue to Rijeka, renowned for its glittering coastline, Hapsburg grandeur, and enviable Adriatic lifestyle. See the City Clock Tower, Adamić palace, and St. Vitus Cathedral, or take the 561 steps toward the Trsat castle where you can revel in the 360 views of the whole city. Finally, complete your exploration of Kvarner with a visit to Krk, Croatia’s largest island, and discover its charming villages and quaint seaside towns such as Vrbnik, Krk, and Baska.
DAY 5
Wine Tasting in the Istrian Hills
Since the early 19th century, this hidden rural estate in Southern Istria surrounded by lush greenery and dark red soil has been considered one of the most beautiful mansions in the Mediterranean. Once a refuge for Austro-Hungarian army officers is now a luxury wine hotel and winery, producing some of the most renowned wines in the area. Tour the estate to learn more about the cultivation of autochthonous grape varieties, hand-pruning methods, and contemporary technologies used in the production of wines to reflect the uniqueness of Istria. Finally, reward your taste buds with a full wine tasting that includes 7 wines and a sampling of local delicacies.
DAY 6
Transfer to Split with Optional Stop at Plitvice Lakes
After hotel check-out, you will meet your private driver and start your trip to Split with an optional stop-over in the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Revel in the stunning beauty of the upper and lower lakes and create your Instamoment under the waterfalls Arrival in Split in the late afternoon, hotel check-in. Rest of the evening at leisure.
DAY 7
Split – Food and History Tour
Embark on a 3-hour walking tour with an expert local guide who is a history buff and foodie. This tour includes generous food stops so you can taste the most delicious local specialties while you walk through the 1700-year-old imperial city, getting to know the Diocletian’s Palace and the surrounding medieval highlights. You will start your food adventure on the very vibrant Greenmarket - the belly of Split - with traditional finger food from the Croatian hinterland - local cheese and prosciutto, peka bread, and soparnik – a local delicacy protected by the geographical origin on the territory of EU. Next stop - seafood specialties in a great restaurant right next to the fish market. You will also taste two types of homemade pasta “makaruni” with a glass of wine (red or white). The tour concludes with a visit to the oldest pastry shop in Split, where you will taste traditional sweets (bobici, mandulat) and homemade gelato.
DAY 8
Split day at leisure
Day at leisure, perfect for exploring the center of Split, its vibrant Palace streets, and the colorful waterfront promenade, the famous Riva. Optionally, you can add a river rafting experience or you can explore the rich Dalmatian hinterland and learn how to make the authentic Soparnik pie.
DAY 9
Brac and Pakleni Islands Boating Experience to Hvar
Discover some of the most pristine waters in Central Dalmatia and explore hidden bays and natural wonders during this exciting boat tour. After meeting your driver at the hotel, you will be transferred to the marina and board the private boat. Your first stop will be the famous Zlatni Rat Beach, where you will have the opportunity to swim and discover the charm of Bol town. The skipper will then set the course for Pakleni islands, an archipelago of untouched islands and islets with numerous swim stops, beach clubs, and fantastic dining experiences. You will arrive in Hvar in the late afternoon close to your hotel and the concierge team or your skipper will help you with your luggage making your check-in easy and smooth.
DAY 10
Hvar Safari Adventure
Embark on a fun-filled off-the-beaten-track adventure through the island of Hvar and discover locations that will provide you with unique Social media content. Explore the highland plateaus of lavender fields, ancestral olive groves, stone walls, abandoned villages, and many locations rarely visited by tourists as even some of the locals don't know they exist - all completely inaccessible by regular tour buses or rental cars and far away from the hustle and bustle of Hvar town. Once your four-wheel-drives reach the highest points of the island you will see amazing panoramic views of open seas and stunning Central Dalmatian islands Vis, Bisevo, Korcula, and Lastovo. You will also visit one of the most picturesque locations on the island, the unique abandoned village of Malo Grablje. You will stop in this area for an exclusive traditional meal in a setting you won't forget. After some great food, lots of laughs, and a glass or two of world-renowned Hvar wine, you will start heading back towards Hvar town.
DAY 11
Dubrovnik
After a scenic hydrofoil transfer, you will reach the famous city of Dubrovnik. Your private driver will meet you at the port to take you to your selected hotel. Evening at leisure.
DAY 12
Panoramic and Walking Tour of Dubrovnik
Explore Dubrovnik from a different perspective and discover not only the historic sights and architecture but also the most memorable panoramas around the city. Your tour starts with panoramic sightseeing; from the New Bridge of Dr. Franjo Tudjman to Srdj hill and an astonishing view of the whole city of Dubrovnik, its walls, and the sea around together with the Elaphite Islands. Your driver will then take you back to Dubrovnik where you will meet your guide and enter through the Pile or Ploce Gate. Along the way, you will see St. Savior’s, a grandiose Franciscan and Dominican church, the crown jewels of Dubrovnik, Knezev Dvor, the Rector’s Palace Old port, squares, monuments, and fountains.
DAY 13
Tour of Kotor Bay in Montenegro
Your private English-speaking driver will pick you up at the hotel in Dubrovnik and start heading towards Zupa Dubrovacka and the Konavle valley up to the border with Montenegro stopping first in Perast. The town of Perast is famous for its beautiful islet called "Gospa od Skrpjela" (Our Lady of Stone) and you will stop to explore the town and bask in the glorious view. The panoramic ride to Kotor is giving you a chance to experience Montenegro’s three different landscapes - bay, mountain, and sea. There are very few places that compare to the natural beauty of the Bay of Kotor, which is a fiord, often compared to the ones in Norway. The city itself is surrounded by a very preserved medieval wall. You'll have free time to explore Kotor where you will be able to visit the city's historical museum, or just enjoy walking the rambling narrow streets and alleys or interacting with the locals in one of many cafes along the boardwalk.
DAY 14
Departure Day
Your private driver will meet you at the hotel lobby to transfer you from the hotel to Dubrovnik Airport for your flight back home.
