ranch country and the Sierra de La Laguna, colonial San Jose del Cabo
provides miles of backcountry roads, trails and secret springs to
explore. Further northeast along the Sea of Cortés, the East Cape calls
with solitary sands and the only living coral reef on Mexico’s
Northwestern Pacific coast at Cabo Pulmo. It may take several trips to
discover all of the things to do in Cabo San Lucas and the Los Cabos
area of Baja California Sur, Mexico.

New Passport
Restrictions:
Effective December 31, 2006, all US citizens traveling to Mexico must have a valid US passport in order to re-enter the US.
Special
restrictions apply to children ages 17 and under must have a notarized
letter from both parents/legal guardian if children are not traveling
with parents. If they are only traveling with one parent, the child must
have a letter from the other parent giving permission to travel to
Mexico. If one is deceased, a death certificate is needed. If both
parents are deceased, the child must have a letter from the legal
guardian.
Wedding Requirements:

Original blood test. Tests must be taken at the resort and
results are ready within 24 hours

Climate:
Summer months are warmer, with highs
in the upper 80s, but the sea breeze keeps it cool and
comfortable. It seldom rains in the winter.
Currency and Credit Cards:
The
Mexican Peso is the official currency. Most major credit
cards are widely accepted.
